India’s most popular culinary show, MasterChef India Season 6, ended on a glorious note for the 27-year-old Abinas Nayak, who was announced as the winner. Nayak, competed against 35-year-old Oindrila Bala in the grand finale.
Abinas, who originally belongs to the Ganjam district of Odisha had astounded the judges from day one with his Chicken besara. He had wooed the judges with his traditional Odia creation and Master Chef India Season 6.
Abinas, Who worked as an engineer in Hyderabad always had a passion for cooking which he finally decided to pursue. He is not only the first Odia to be a part of the show, but he is also the first Odia to win it which is really a commendable job and something extraordinary
Apart from him another odia girl was competing in the finals who did excellently well and rank wise got eliminated in 3rd position, Smrutisree Singh is from angul and she made it twice to the wall of fame or Grand Dish wall with two signature dishes Kathal Ki Dastan and Nadia kadali kakara, Many many congratulations to her as well for making Odisha proud on a National Television.
